Water - Nature

Type: Handmade Illustration
Tools: Acrylic and watercolors, pens, scissors, glue, textures, and colored pencils
Approach: A study in paratactic color synthesis using diverse handmade techniques to balance independent visual elements within a unified palette.

This illustration project, developed at the Akademie für Illustration und Design Berlin (AID Berlin), focuses on paratactic color synthesis—a technique where a limited palette of 3-4 specific colors unites distinct compositions into a cohesive visual narrative. Through a combination of collage, watercolor, colored pencils, and mixed-media textures, the work explores how individual elements maintain their autonomy while forming a harmonious whole.
